| 2008 October Jacinda was feature artist in the Kojonup Art show. In September Jacinda received highly commended in the “Signature South west exhibition”. In May she was a finalist in the prestigious "Artitude" YAWA art award where her work was showcased at the Intercontinental Hotel Burswood. In April Jacinda held a solo Exhibition at Zin Zan Gallery Dunsborough with her series on Broome. In January Jacinda was awarded highly commended in the Vasse Art Show. Jacinda’s work has also been shown at Zin Zan Gallery Busselton, Margaret River Jah Roc, Gallery 360 Perth, Nine by Five Gallery Fremantle and Monsoon Gallery Broome.
2007 In August of 2007 Jacinda opened her first
solo Exhibition "Horizons" at the Mandurah Performing Arts Gallery where her
opening was a huge success and was covered by Foxtels "Gallery Watch".
Jacinda's work is also being showcased in August 2007 at Zin Zan Gallery
Busselton.
2006 Jacinda sucessfully applied to Art Source to move to Settlers
Cottage in Churchlands. She now works from this heritage building with 3
other Artists. She has exhibited in the Hale, Stirling, St Hildas, Cossack
and Mosman Park exhibitions.
2003-05 moved to Perth where she pursued her love for painting by continuing with life drawing and acquiring a studio at P&S studios Fremantile in 2004.
Jacinda has e | | | | 2001-03 travelled to Sydney where she worked full time and continued her art work part-time concentrating mainly on commission work.
2000-01 went back to Dunedin where she had a studio and exhibited in local exhibitions and sold work through local galleries
1997-1999 travelled through Europe and lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for 2 and half years where she worked part-time as an Artist and held a studio at WASPS. Jacinda exhibited her work as part of a group of young emerging Artists who worked in WASPS. She also exhibited her work at Local Galleries such as Stenton in East Lothian
1993-97 School of Art, Dunedin NZ - Graduated with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in Painting. Jacinda s work was exhibited in the Graduate s Show where her work was purchased for the Otago School of Arts private collection. In 1996 the Art school celebrated its 100th year as the oldest Art school in New Zealand Jacinda s work was selected for the cover of their prospective that year.
