2011In April this year I have been fortunate to be invited on the True North as Artist In Residence. I will get the opportunity to see the amazing Kimberley CoastLine from the water as well as by air as the True North own Personal Helicopter will fly me over some of the most remote areas of the KImberley. All the inspiration from this trip will be exhibited at the end of the year at Linton and Kay contemporary Gallery in Subiaco Perth.

2011 In April this Year Jacinda was the winner of the Mandjar Art Award with her the prize winning work going into the Mandurah Art Gallery Collection

2010 This year Jacinda works towards 2 exhibitions. The first on November 4th. Solo show in Perth with LK Gallery and the second a joint show with Archibald finalist Peter Kendell at a new gallery in Yallingup which opens October this year.

In June, a unique opportunity arose to turn one of Perth’s most prestigious shop fronts, at Hay Street’s enex100, into her art studio for a month. With the support of local business, Globetrotter Corporate Travel and a matching grant from the ABAF/WA Premier’s Art Partnership Fund, this opportunity became an integral part in the creation of her exhibition.The residency attracted significant media attention with Channel Ten News, The West Australian. Sunday Times and local community newspapers covering the story.

2009 In April Jacinda opened her Easter Show in Busselton. The work in this show showcased some of her work form the South West and from her trip to the Northern territory last year. The art was displayed at the Goose and Zin Zan Gallery over the Easter holidays. Soon after this exhibition Jacinda was selected to be a finalist for the second time in the prestigious "Artitude" YAWA (Young Artists with Artitude) art award . Jacinda now works towards her highly anticipated "Trip through he Kimberley" at Monsoon Gallery in Broome. Her work will also feature in the Cossack Art Awards (July) and the Hale art Show ( August).

2008 October Jacinda was feature artist in the Kojonup Art show. In September Jacinda received highly commended in the “Signature South west exhibition”. In May she was a finalist in the prestigious "Artitude" YAWA art award where her work was showcased at the Intercontinental Hotel Burswood. In April Jacinda held a solo Exhibition at Zin Zan Gallery Dunsborough with her series on Broome. In January Jacinda was awarded highly commended in the Vasse Art Show. Jacinda’s work has also been shown at Zin Zan Gallery Busselton, Margaret River Jah Roc, Gallery 360 Perth, Nine by Five Gallery Fremantle and Monsoon Gallery Broome.

2007 In August of 2007 Jacinda opened her first solo Exhibition "Horizons" at the Mandurah Performing Arts Gallery where her opening was a huge success and was covered by Foxtels "Gallery Wa


2001-03 travelled to Sydney where she worked full time and continued her art work part-time concentrating mainly on commission work.

2000-01 went back to Dunedin where she had a studio and exhibited in local exhibitions and sold work through local galleries

1997-1999 travelled through Europe and lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for 2 and half years where she worked part-time as an Artist and held a studio at WASPS. Jacinda exhibited her work as part of a group of young emerging Artists who worked in WASPS. She also exhibited her work at Local Galleries such as Stenton in East Lothian

1993-97 School of Art, Dunedin NZ - Graduated with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in Painting. Jacinda s work was exhibited in the Graduate s Show where her work was purchased for the Otago School of Arts private collection. In 1996 the Art school celebrated its 100th year as the oldest Art school in New Zealand Jacinda s work was selected for the cover of their prospective that year.
